Opened in 2001, the Campo Grande circuit has one of Brazil's longest straights — around 960 metres — ending in a heavy braking zone. Anti-clockwise, flat, and fully exposed to the Centre-West sun.
The main straight changes everything: it is long enough that a tow matters more than the ideal line through the preceding corner. A poor exit from the last turn costs the place before the braking zone. Heat punishes the front tyres over a race distance.
